Blossom's Story

Blossom
Female
Mixed Breed
9 weeks old
4-5lb
Hi! My name is Blossom, or as my foster mom calls me, Blossom Baby. I'm really soft and love to cuddle with my brother or any human! I'm still a puppy and need help learning some good manners. I'm doing OK puppy pad training but need a little bit of patience. I love all the humans I meet and I love playing too! I'm still really small and can fit through small places (like deck railing!) so make sure you can keep an eye on me! I do amazing in my crate with my brother. I've never been in it alone before so I might be lonely at first but I bet I'll figure it out pretty quick. I still have my baby teeth and I like to chew on things so could you get me some fun toys to chew on? I've never tried to walk on a leash yet but I'm so little you shouldn't have trouble helping me learn. I'll do great with other dogs who like to play! I'm sure I'd get used to being your only little love as well. I will be ready for meet and greets starting May 31.
If you're interested in adopting Blossom, please apply at 716paws.org or message/email us if you're pre approved.

716 Promoting Animal Welfare & Safety (716 PAWS)'s Adoption Policy
Currently we only adopt out within a 1 hour commute from the Buffalo Niagara airport. We accept any application outside of that area if the family has no other pets and is willing to come to buffalo for meet and greets with the dogs. If an applicant has other pets it is on a case by case basis weather the foster is willing to travel for the meet and greet. We will consider processing applications outside of Western New York and Rochester if the family has no other dogs in the home and is willing to come to Buffalo for the meet and greet. We do not provide transport services to out of town adopters. We do not adopt within Canada. What's Required to Adopt Required vetting for dogs: They must be spayed or neutered Be current on their rabies, distemper/parvo. Kennel cough/Bordatella is highly recommended but not required for dogs. If current animals are not vaccinated and spayed/neutered, the application will be denied unless there is a valid reason that it was medically necessary not to perform the procedure. Required vetting for Cats:? They must be spayed or neutered Be current on their rabies PLEASE NOTE: You must be 21 or older to adopt. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers for processing. First we will contact your vet reference if you current have pets living in the home or have had pets within the past two years. Next we will be contacting your personal references. Next is the home check. This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process, review the home, the yard and answer any questions you may have. Once the home visit is completed and if you are approved, you will be notified and can then express interest in a dog.
