Blondie's Story

Meet Blondie!

This two-year-old, 55-pound lab/shepherd mix is the ultimate companion!

Before coming to GLDR, Blondie spent time in a foster home and they had nothing but great things to say about her. House-trained and crate-trained, Blondie is ready for life in a home. She lived with other dogs and cats and did well with both of them!

Not only is Blondie one beautiful girl, she is a pup that forms very strong bonds with her people. Timid to begin, once Blondie is comfortable with you, she is truly one affectionate girl! She loves to lean in for snuggles and will be your biggest fan. She enjoys peanut butter and does the cutest tippy taps when she gets excited.

As she is still a young lady, Blondie will benefit from daily exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy in her new home. She already knows how to sit and enjoys all sorts of treats. Blondie will thrive in an active home where she can be part of the daily activities. She will need a patient, experienced adopter who will give her time to form a strong connection and help her build confidence.

Based on our evaluation, we feel Blondie would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages 12 and up. She may have the potential to live with other animals as she has done so before. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.

If you're looking for your ride or die, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com and submit your application for our beauty Blondie!
