Blondie and Stanley's Story
Stanley and Blondie look like siblings but that is not the case. They are only friends who have been together their whole lives. It is important they stay together! I am not sure they would know what to do without each other. They are both athletic and can run for miles without getting tired. A large space is a requirement especially if they aren't able to get to a running trail daily. Stanley is more independent and listen wells. Blondie is a bit chaotic and doesnt know when to stop giving loves. She also needs to work on her jumping. Her over excitement causes her to not think and jump. Stanley is a bit stand-offish and is cautious around strangers. They have co-habitated in a household with cats but they also have a strong prey drive to small animals such as ground squirrels and birds so it is not recommended a house with cats or small dogs. They would do best in a calm adult household. <br/>Blondie & Stanley came to us 2 years ago when their young owner suddenly passed away. So we know a bit about their past life. They have been together since puppyhood yet not related. They do everything together which includes eat, sleep and drink. They lived predominantly outdoors. They love attention which i don't think they got much. They are great car riders and anticipate their daily outing to the park. Although they are adult dogs they still have so much more room to blossom with an owner that will give them attention and training. They are four years old, neutered and up to date on shots. They are independent personalities that need to be together! If interested please email haltrescue@gmail.com or complete an adoption application.
