Meet Blizzard! Our 1 year old, 61 pound, male lab mix. If you’ve ever wished for a walking cloud who also happens to be your best friend, Blizzard is your guy. This big, handsome boy is unforgettable, and guaranteed to sweep you off your feet mostly with love and playful energy. Blizzard is a large male dog with a playful temperment. He adores people, enjoys being close to his humans, who endulge in his play time, be it playing catch, tug-o-war or chase. <br/><br/>Blizzard a softie and is looking for a family who appreciates a loyal companion, and someone to take on walks and runs with. Blizzard would thrive in a home that welcomes his big presence and even bigger heart.<br/><br/>Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.<br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance<br/>SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
