Welcome to my page where you get to learn all about ME. My name is Blinky and they go on and on about how handsome I am because of these brindle strips busting through my pretty black fur. They call me a milk crate baby because someone left me and my siblings in a milk crate outside of a shelter, but since Hero rescued me, life has been very different. I’m still a puppy so I just want to eat, play and snuggly in your arms for a nap and then maybe eat some more because food is my love language. I have lots of foster siblings and we run around in the yard playing with toys all the time, which is so much fun, but also like following my foster Mom around. I recently went through a growth spurt which is so cool because now I can see on top of things and even climb places I couldn’t before. The vet said I probably won’t be more than 45lbs which I hear is the perfect size. They keep calling me the perfect sleeper because I go to bed quietly and don’t make a peep all night, it doesn’t matter if I am in a crate or in a bed on your bedroom floor, I promise to be good and quiet. I have had all my vaccines and I am neutered, so I am patiently waiting for my family to find me. That family will need to continue to help me with all my puppy training and obedience, but I promise when I grow up big and strong, I will be the best dog ever. Apply and come meet me for yourself!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
