Come see us for a day full of wagging tails and adorable pups!<br/><br/>SATURDAY, MARCH 28 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT AT the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!<br/><br/>———————<br/><br/>Meet BLAKE! Blake is a fun-loving guy who’s always ready to play—especially if there’s a game of fetch involved. Toss the ball and you’ve got his full attention (and his whole heart).<br/><br/>He’s a happy, goofy pup who loves being around people and soaking up all the action. Whether it’s playtime or just hanging out, Blake is all about good times and good company.<br/> <br/>He’s good with other dogs and wouldn’t mind a buddy to run and play with. Cats, though? Not his vibe.<br/><br/>He already knows “sit” and “shake” and is more than happy to show off his skills—especially if treats are part of the deal.<br/><br/>He’s been working on his leash skills and is getting better every day! He might get a little excited at first (because… adventure!!!), but once you’re on the move, he settles in and is happy to just enjoy a nice stroll.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a playful, loving, fetch-obsessed best friend, Blake is ready to meet you!<br/><br/>Blake is 4 year old lab mix and he weighs 64 lbs. <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
