BLAIR's Story

BLAIR / 4 yrs / FEMALE / MIXED BREED / WEIGHT (35 lbs and 16 kgs) / Rescued from Barbados / Currently fostered in Oshawa

Good with other dogs and dog savvy cats
Good with teenagers or dog savvy kids
House and crate trained

Major medical concerns: none

Meet Blair – The Shy Girl with the Need for Speed!

Blair may be small in size, but this little lady is mighty in spirit — and fast enough to give a racehorse a run for its money! She's a sweet, petite pup with the biggest ears and even bigger heart. She’s a bit shy at first and prefers people who give her time and space to come to them. Once she trusts you, though, get ready for her adorable “boops” — gentle nose taps that mean “good job!” or “I like you.”

Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Other dogs! Blair thrives in canine company and truly blossoms when she has a dog friend to play, snuggle, and learn from. She’s respectful, playful, and happiest when she’s part of a pack.

Blair loves to run, hike, and explore — she’s incredibly fast, smart, and would shine at agility training once she learns the ropes. She walks beautifully on leash, rides perfectly in the car, and has wonderful recall (especially if treats are involved — she’s very food motivated!).

At home, Blair has learned that couches are cozy, snacks are life, and that love can be quiet and gentle. She’s still learning that humans with kind hands are safe, so her ideal family will be patient, dog-savvy, and have at least one confident, friendly dog to show her how great the world can be.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will warm your heart, make you laugh, and impress everyone at the dog park with her zoomies, apply to meet her at https://caninehaven.org/dog-application/ — Blair is ready to boop her way into your life!

Spayed / Microchipped / Vaccinations up to date

**PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED -
https://caninehaven.org/dog-application/

For inquiries please do not use Adoptapet/Petfinder inquiry button - send an email directly to hello@caninehaven.org
