Mr. Blackie, or Mr. B as his friends call him, is a trim slender youngster with a shiny coat and a tail with a hint of feathering, perhaps from a mysterious ancestor. He’s about two years old and tips the scale at a perfect 55 pounds. Cheerful and affable Mr. B went on an unsupervised ramble one day and ended up in a shelter where long stays are not welcome. Our rescue partner saved his life. Since he’d tangled with a skunk, she also gave him the spa treatment before he arrived smelling sweet as a rose!<br/><br/>While we are just getting to know handsome Mr. B., a recent arrival, he has impressed everyone as a lovely kind pup with a sweet, friendly, and calm demeanor. He knows sit, takes treats nicely, has polite greeting manners and walks nicely on leash.
