Meet Bix! <br/><br/>A little over a year ago, in May of 2025, we were in a metro area shelter to pick up some other dogs and we saw this poor girl cowering in the back of a kennel. Skin and bones and terrified, there was no way we could leave her there. <br/><br/>Bix is about 4 years old and great with other dogs! Thanks to lots of patience and TLC from her foster family, she's also learned that people make pretty cool friends too. Not only that but she has also learned that BALL IS LIFE! Bix love love loves to play ball! She's looking for a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in - she still gets a bit nervous in new surroundings- along with another confident dog and fenced yard. <br/><br/>Interested in becoming one of the most important parts of Bix's story? Rescue Me Ga Inc's Adoption Policy
We have an application process that we require for any adoption. The application can be found on our website at www.rmgdogs.org - its the first step in our process and required before we set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in …. ALL of our dogs are completely vetted - all vaccines - spay or neuter - dewormings - chip - heart worm tested and treated if needed and ready to be loved. WE are foster based which means our dogs are in homes or temporary boarding when we rescue them -- we know their personalities and what would be their best fit! Our dogs come from a rural Georgia shelter and often we take in surrenders from families facing difficult situations…..  WE do post many dogs still in need at animal control as well as all who have been saved already that are in foster homes.  We do NOT operate a facility where you can visit the dogs unless you contact us to possibly meet one already in a foster
