Meet Bix! We met Bix one May afternoon when we were visiting a metro area animal shelter. Huddling in the back of her kennel, just skin and bones - we knew we needed to save her!<br/><br/>Bix is a 2-3 years old German Shepherd, perhaps with just a smidge of something else in there to account for her smaller than normal size. She's great with other dogs and oh so so smart! Her favorite past time? Playing ball! Bix will play ball for hours!!<br/><br/>Interested in adopting? Rescue Me Ga Inc's Adoption Policy

We have an application process that we require for any adoption. The application can be found on our website at www.rmgdogs.org - its the first step in our process and required before we set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in …. ALL of our dogs are completely vetted - all vaccines - spay or neuter - dewormings - chip - heart worm tested and treated if needed and ready to be loved. WE are foster based which means our dogs are in homes or temporary boarding when we rescue them -- we know their personalities and what would be their best fit! Our dogs come from a rural Georgia shelter and often we take in surrenders from families facing difficult situations….. WE do post many dogs still in need at animal control as well as all who have been saved already that are in foster homes. We do NOT operate a facility where you can visit the dogs unless you contact us to possibly meet one already in a foster

RESCUE ME GEORGIA is a 501c3 non profit rescue group dedicated to saving dogs from a small rural shelter and county outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Since our start November of 2011, we have saved more than 5000 animals in need and have been able to be a part of so many lives changed!
