Onyx is an adorable little gal. She's sweet and good with other dogs and cats. Onyx, a black and tan feist mix, is living in a foster home with two cats now.
Onyx was rescued from a hoarder in Puerto Rico. Like many dogs who have had this sad start in life, Onyx hasn't had a lot of experiences - so many things are new and scary to her. Lucky for Onyx, she's in a wonderful foster home where she has quickly learned that the world can be a wonderful place.
Onyx is very affectionate once she knows you. She likes to cuddle and lean against her human. She's a loyal, quiet and polite dog. She enjoys playing with her foster's teenage kids. She's still a fairly young dog so still likes to be active and have fun.
Onyx is a really smart girl and has made so much progress getting used to new people and new sights and sounds. She is still shy but will continue to blossom in a home with a loving, patient human. Onyx is housetrained and loves her crate.
Onyx is eager to find her new loving home stateside.
