Biscuit's Story
When Biscuit was 5 months old, his previous owner posted him and his siblings on Craigslist to be given away for free. He and his siblings were part of an accidental litter of 8 puppies that the owner could no longer keep up with. Fortunately, a shelter volunteer saw the post and reached out to their owner offering help. Biscuit's parents were spayed/neutered and Biscuit along with his siblings were surrendered to the shelter in hopes of finding them their forever homes the right way!

If you remember the movie "Homeward Bound", then you may remember Shadow the golden retriever. The best way to describe Biscuit is to say that he IS Shadow the golden retriever. Well, in spirit, maybe not actually. Biscuit is everything a dog should be he is loyal, lazy, curious, gentle and so very easy to love. At only 8 months old, he has the personality of an old, senior dog. He just wants to be loved and to love.

Biscuit loves other dogs and does enjoy playing every now and again though he mostly sits play time out to go be lazy somewhere. He also doesn't care about cats one bit and would do fine in a house that had them. Biscuit is very gentle and would be fine around younger kids! He also appreciates his belly rubs a LOT!

Biscuit is located at the Brownsville Haywood County Animal Shelter in Brownsville, Tennessee. His neuter has been sponsored and therefore adoption fee is $60. We have no pull fee for reputable 501c3 rescue groups and can help arrange transport. Please share Biscuit to help him find his forever home!
