Biscuit - ADOPTION PENDING 's Story

Biscuit is a 5–6-year-old female 60 lb Goldendoodle who recently arrived from the South, where she spent much of her life outdoors. She’s now learning just how comforting home life can be — and she’s really starting to enjoy soft beds, cozy spots, and a peaceful routine. Biscuit has a quiet, gentle disposition and continues to gain confidence each day.

In her foster home, Biscuit lives with one resident dog (a 6-year-old female doodle) and is comfortable sharing space while enjoying her own quiet time. She has also been around children over 10 and has shown herself to be very sweet and gentle.

Biscuit sleeps through the night in her crate and enjoys having toys to keep her busy. She likes going on walks (especially in between her favorite activity — naps!). She may pull on the leash at times but is improving with consistency. Biscuit can be a bit timid when meeting new people or dogs, but she warms up with time and familiarity, especially when she sees them regularly.

She is very close to being fully potty trained and will just need a patient adopter to help her finish strong. She loves treats, which makes training a great opportunity to build a bond.

As a Goldendoodle, Biscuit will require regular grooming.

One of Biscuit’s favorite things? Gently leaning in for nonstop head rubs once she feels comfortable — it’s her sweet way of connecting.

Biscuit is a kind-hearted, low-key companion looking for a patient and loving home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace .
