Biscuit Chihuahua Mix Cincinnati, OH

Biscuit came from the hoarding situation in Tennessee and was with 149 other dogs. Biscuit was amazing from the word go, so friendly when indoors but terrified outside. He had another dog from that situation which helped both of them. He is about 2 years old.

He is now totally crate trained but because we do not have a fenced in yard he goes on the pee pads most of the time. I do believe with another dog and a fenced in yard he would be easier to train. He is funny, can jump high, and is pretty fast when he runs. Another playful dog is a must for this guy. He does walk around outside and is getting better with noises and people walking. If someone with a dog is on his side of the road or if he hears dogs barking he does get scared and wants back in.

He loves to run with my 9 year old granddaughter and he will stay outside a long time running with her. He will even sit and look out the front door and let my 3 year old granddaughter pet him. He does require someone with patience to help him progress because his first year or two was definitely not the best for this poor guy.

My sons dog which is a lot bigger than him has been over to stay and even though he is scared at first, they land up playing together and are buddies after a few hours. The vet thinks Biscuit is around 2 years old. He is neutered and has had all his shots and is microchipped. Biscuit is also really good around cats.
