Birdie is proof that the best things come in sweet, silly, ten-year-old packages. She did wonderfully at pints for pups at the Brewing Lair recently, greeting everyone with a smile and leaning in for love. <br/>Birdie is selective with other dogs and does best paired with an older, more mellow companion; she got along well with one of our resident dogs but will need further introductions with females. She's happiest in a home without cats. She walks fairly well on leash, is fully housebroken, and knows her name, sit, and come. She's always up for a good lounge session, plush and squeaky toys, chews, and cuddling on the couch.<br/>Cars and delivery drivers tend to stress her out, and she can clear a low fence when uncomfortable. Birdie would thrive in a quiet, semi-active home where she can feel safe and settled, ideally as the treasured only pet or alongside one calm, older dog, soaking up attention and enjoying her golden years being adored.<br/><br/>Birdie's adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to Sierra Valley Yaks.
