Meet Birdie! <br/><br/>• I can be worried about new people, surroundings and touch. <br/>• I prefer to take things at my own pace.<br/>• I am a sweet and sensitive dog who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.<br/><br/>ENERGY LEVEL<br/>Medium – I am a dog that will do my best with moderate exercise and enjoy relaxing with you afterward.<br/><br/>LEASH<br/>• I walk well on a leash but I may stop and look back at you cause I tend to get nervous on walks sometimes. <br/><br/>MISCELLANEOUS<br/>• I will be a bit reserved at first, but I'm just waiting for the right person to help me feel comfortable. <br/>• While I do tolerate the men here, but I'm more comfortable with women. <br/>• In my previous home I use to live with other canine companions. <br/>• I may do better with an experienced owner who is great with helping shy dogs feel more comfortable. <br/>• I think I would do great in a home with a mellow life-style so I can take my time feeling more comfortable. <br/>• It is recommended that I meet any canine companions living in the home prior to being adopted.<br/>• I have a history of escaping doors or fences.
