Meet Birdie<br/>The sweetest soul who’s been waiting her whole life to be loved. After spending nearly all of her 5 years surviving outdoors, Birdie learned to fend for herself, search for food and protect her little world all on her own. Yet somehow she still came out of it with a heart that’s soft, open and overflows with love!! 6 weeks ago Birdie became a momma, and an incredible one. She has cared for her babies with gentleness that has been so special to witness. But now it’s her turn to be cared for. Despite never having her own family, Birdie adjusted to indoor life like she was made for it. She doesn’t just trust people she adores them and welcomes any and all affection she can get whether that be from kids, or any adult, she is not scared of men or anyone. She’ll gently nudge your hand up to her head to ask for head scratches, and loves to be in the presence of people. She especially likes to lay on the floor in the kitchen just incase a crumb or two is dropped??. She has a gentle, calm, demeanor, and will politely let you know when she’s hungry (a luxury she’s never had before). And even after recently having puppies, Birdie is committed to going potty outside, she’s such a good girl! Birdie is ready for what she’s never had: a soft bed, safe home, and committed family full of love just like she is.<br/><br/><br/>MORE INFO:<br/>All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, or scheduled to be if they arrived in our care too young. Each dog has been seen by our veterinarian and treated for likely the following (all various): Age appropriate vaccines, overall health exam and other alignments as they come up.
