DOB: 10.05.2022<br/><br/>Hi!<br/><br/>I am Birdie and I was found roaming in the streets of Ixtapa all by myself. I was only about 3 months old and I was clearly very lost. It was pretty scary, even though it was a nice neighborhood, there are some big stray dogs who are the bosses around the trash bins and finding food as a small baby- Chihuahua like me it is nearly impossible! I was very happy when I got rescued by a veterinarian, Dr. Karla, who is a big supporter of the Surfers For Strays rescue organization. She searched with me for my owners, but we had no luck. She was so nice and offered to keep me till we are able to find a new home for me!<br/><br/>I am very proud to now be in the Surfers For Strays program! As I am living with a veterinarian, it didn't take me long to get all my necessary shots and to get very healthy.<br/><br/>I am trying to be a very good pup! I am very grateful that I got a second chance! In the future I am hoping for a loving family that I can accompany wherever they go! I hope I will never feel as lost again, as I was, when I was all by myself in the streets!
