Birdie

Birdie is a stunningly beautiful girl!! She fell on hard times when her family had significant health issues so she was left to fend for herself. She came to the Ark very frightened and needing lots of special TLC. In the short time she has been at the Ark she has blossomed into an incredibly smart, playful and affectionate girl! She is tall (just above knee high) and has the most beautiful prancing gait as she runs! (and yes, she does have one brown eye and one blue eye!!) She does really well with cats and is very friendly with other dogs.<br/><br/>Birdie is a Catahoula Heeler, which means she has strong working dog traits and needs to be in a home where she can be active, have a 'job' and get lots of exercise.<br/>If you are interested in adopting Birdie, please click the link and submit an adoption application!<br/>** Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only.
