Despite the rough beginning, this resilient, 5 month old girl has made her way to a foster home in Salt Lake City, where she’s now safe, loved, and working hard through training to heal from the emotional trauma she experienced so young.<br/><br/>Birdie is going to be an incredibly fun and rewarding dog for the right person. She’s smart, driven, and has so much potential — but she is not an “easy” puppy. Birdie is what we call a project dog, and she will need an adopter who is committed to structure, consistency, and continued training.<br/><br/>She thrives in a balanced pack environment and learns best from well-mannered dogs who can help guide her. Birdie will do best in a home with breed experience and a strong understanding of large, powerful dogs.
