Birch's Story

Birch is a young female dog, and is an adorable pup with a lot of love to give! She's friendly, affectionate, gentle, playful and funny, and she'll be your very best friend if you give her a chance! Birch has a lot of energy and would be perfect for an active owner who wants to take her on walks and adventures. She's an intelligent girl who is very treat-motivated, so training her will be a breeze. She'll learn all kinds of neat tricks in no time! Birch loves giving kisses to the people she loves and is just an overall sweet and adorable dog. She would do best as the only dog in the home as she has not had a good experience with other dogs. We're not sure how she would be with cats or other animals. If you're looking for a fun, loving and hilarious companion, Birch is the one for you!

Lone Star Animal Rescue Foundation's Adoption Policy

After an initial conversation for screening of intent to adopt we have adopters sign a contract similar in content to the Humane Society’s. Adopters are charged a 50$ fee. They receive the latest Veterinary health records and are informed about next steps of care, such as 3rd/ 4th sets of vaccinations in very young animals.
