This playful guy has a little grey on his face, but don’t let that fool you—he’s young at heart and full of energy. Bingo loves to run, chase toys, and explore, so he’d be thrilled to have an active person to take him on walks, jogs, or backyard adventures.<br/><br/>He’s also one smart cookie! Bingo already knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and even roll over—and he’s always happy to show off his tricks (especially if treats are involved!). He is house trained. <br/><br/>Bingo is the kind of dog who instantly wins hearts with his friendly, easygoing personality. He’s a big fan of people and loves making new friends wherever he goes. Whether it’s playing fetch, enjoying a leisurely stroll, or curling up for a cozy nap afterward, Bingo is happiest when he’s spending time with the people he loves. <br/><br/>He's also good with other dogs.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is ready to leave the shelter behind and find his forever family who will love him as much as he loves them. <br/><br/>Bingo is a 6-year-old Shepherd mix who weighs 44 lbs. <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives? Consider fostering by filling out our foster application at https://www.kckpd.org/Animal-Services/Foster-a-Pet. All supplies are provided.
