He is a special little case, he is! He doesn't like kids or other animals. On a bad day he might not even like you! He is a bit feisty and temperamental but i believe he is just misunderstood.

I do not know what happened to him in his previous home but he was obviously mistreated. He is afraid of everything! You can't put a leash or harness or collar on him. He hates it and will let you hear about it pronto! He doesn't like to be hugged too tightly but at the same time he is desperate for your attention. He allows me to bathe him just fine but if he decides he doesn't like to be brushed he'll let you know about it. He weighs a very tiny 3.7 lbs. He has a tiny bark that sounds like a parrot, which is kind of totally adorable and the sounds that come out of his tiny mouth sound more like words instead of "woofs."

He has now been neutered, (hopefully this will calm him down a bit) micro-chipped, vaccinated, and thankfully has had his remaining four teeth removed. He will bite you if you tick him off but without teeth he can do very little damage. He is a bit nervous here in foster care. He likes being carried around and loves his stroller. He will sleep with us as long as he is away from the other dogs. He barks at them like he is going to tear their heads off but my own little yorkies have seen so many fosters come and go, they are pretty laid back, so they all laugh at him. Bing acts like such a tough guy but I think he is just afraid. He would do best with either an older single or married couple who have a lot of patience. He would do well with someone who is home more often than not. He needs to learn how to trust humans again. He desperately wants to.

He does his pee pee on papers and seems pretty good about it. He also likes to sun himself on the screened in lanai but walking him down the street is not something you will probably be able to do because he really hates a harness. Like REALLY! I wish he could talk so he could tell me all that has happened to him. We are not sure how old he is, a good guess would be about 8 or so. I am going to be very picky about where he goes.... (OK I'm picky about where they ALL go) because he has been through so much already and I want him to live the rest of his life in peace and comfort. (Oh and the hat was photo-shopped on... no way would he have ever allowed that on his head either. lol)

Florida Yorkie Rescue
www.floridayorkierescue.com
floridayorkierescue@yahoo.com
