Bindi's Story

My foster writes:
Bindi is an adorable 2 year young puppy. She's still making sense of the world and trying to balance her curiosity and fearfulness carefully, sniffing every blade of grass, leaf, humans and statues before giving her approval. She's a puppy that was probably never allowed to be one, so she takes her time to trust and when she does come out of her shell, she's a love bug. She demands cuddles, petting, begging you to play with her and you can't say no to that face. She's fully housebroken and is not destructive when left alone. She's a medium/high energy incredibly smart dog that will need ample mental and physical exercise. She's respectful of other dogs. Even when we've had a few that should've been leashed sneak up on her, she was calm. She walks well on leash until she sees a squirrel and may drag you on her adventure but she's equally content watching them, fantasizing about climbing trees to catch them... some day.
Bindi may not be the dog that runs up to strangers, demanding belly rubs but is the dog that gets the most compliments on how cute she is when trots on her walks. Give her time and space and she'll be the most loving, loyal, entertaining and accommodative companion you can ever ask for.
