His energy level is around a 7–8, making him a great match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle but also appreciates a dog who can settle and relax at home.<br/><br/>With other dogs, Billy shines. He’s friendly, playful, and social, enjoying group settings and canine companionship without needing another dog to feel complete. He plays respectfully, shares food and toys without issue, and adjusts well to new dog friends after a brief assessment. He’s confident enough to be an only dog or happy to share his home with a compatible canine companion.<br/><br/>Billy is crate trained and settles easily, entering his crate willingly and remaining calm. He is mostly potty trained, with occasional accidents that continue to improve with consistency. He learns well with patience, positive reinforcement, and a structured routine, making him suitable for first-time dog owners as well as more experienced adopters.<br/><br/>He has not been exposed to cats or children yet, but he is completely comfortable with handling, grooming, and vet exams. Billy may show slight hesitation in new environments or situations at first, but he adjusts quickly and moves forward with confidence once he feels secure.<br/><br/>Billy would thrive in a home that offers routine, affection, and daily activity. Whether in an apartment or a house, he does well as long as his exercise and enrichment needs are met.
