Billy the Chihuahua/Terrier has been with us for months waiting ever so patiently for someone to fall in love with his cute little face and even cuter personality. The reason nobody has adopted him yet is because of his medical needs. Billy is only about five years old but he has a pretty serious degenerative heart condition. His heart works harder than it should and he requires three daily cardiac medications to keep him going. There is no surgery available to “cure” him but with proper medical management he could continue to do well for several more years. We are happy to send the full report from his cardiologist to anyone seriously interested in giving Billy a home. You’d never know this happy guy has any health issues because he is so active and spunky. He absolutely loves to play with the puppies in his foster home and he can keep up with them just fine. Billy doesn’t act disabled at all. He is joyful soul and he loves life. He was able to be neutered and also got a dental cleaning recently and he came through his anesthesia perfectly fine. This sweet boy is incredibly sweet and his funny face makes him that much more endearing. We don’t know what the future holds for Billy long term but we know he deserves a loving home regardless. <br/><br/>Billy is fully vetted -- neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming.
