Bill Nye's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.9/16 Update! Bill Nye saw two specialists who determined his injuries were far worse than we realized and his leg had to be amputated. As of today, Bill Nye is a beautiful tripod! He needs a family who understands tripods (he really won't have special needs other than managing his weight and watching his remaining front leg). Will post his post-surgery pics as soon as he's back in his foster home!Bill Nye, AKA A584222, was euth listed at San Bernardino City Shelter because of a dislocated elbow. He is being seen at an orthopedic specialist, and as soon as he is healed and fully vetted, he is ready to go to a new home! We're taking applications now so his new family can prepare and get his home ready. We estimate he can go to a new home in 4-6 weeks (apprx 10-1 to 10/13, depending on how he does). He is currently 22-lbs and apprx 4-6 mo-old. He looks like a pure Lab pup, but we can never be totally sure, so we have him listed as a mix. He is very 'velcroey' and likes to be on your lap. Very affectionate! Follows you wherever you go!We will work on potty training, but all puppy adopters need to be ready to continue potty training and put their pup through obedience training.<br/>Contact us if interested in giving Bill Nye the dream home he deserves!
