Bill's Story

**THIS DOG IS NOT LOCATED AT THE SHELTER, HE IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER. Please schedule with the shelter to meet him**

Bill came to CGHS after running wild in the rural, orchard areas of The Dalles with his brother. They both needed to be trapped in order to finally get some much needed TLC and the proper medical care that would eventually lead to their furever home! Despite being in flight survival mode, these two were very sweet and well tempered once they allowed some human interaction and have both turned out to be very kind and gentle souls!

Bill is definitely more confident, he likes to approach new situations with a healthy weariness. He does amazing meeting new people, he will investigate and be shy at first but once he is given the greenlight with a treat this guy blossoms into a big lap dog. Bill will rarely ever jump on someone, he will very gently climb into laps and ask for pets or lean up against you politely. Volunteer walkers have given him great reviews with him being one of the most leash polite dogs, rarely ever pulling or having reactions to distractions.

Bill did very well with his less confident brother, bringing him out of his shell and engaging in play. He seems to enjoy other dogs that are friendly and playful, but is not the biggest fan of reactive or loud dogs.

Bill's brother has managed to secure his forever home, now it's Bill's turn to show someone just how in tune and handler focused of a dog he can be!

Age: 2 years old
Weight: 55lbs
Adoption Fee: $400

Fill out an application at: https://www.columbiagorgehs.org/adopt.html

(All animals adopted out of CGHS are spayed/neutered, up to date on annual vaccines including rabies, and microchipped) HE I
