Bill Burr's Story
Bill Burr is a particular little guy, he likes all his ducks in a row, and affection on his terms. No if, ands or buts about it! You must have the patience to let him warm up to you, and trust you at his pace. Bill is about 3 years old and weighs about 13lbs. He is small, cute and fuzzy but if you step out of line he will very quickly let you know you've gone to far. Like the comedian he is smart, funny, but has a somewhat abrasive attitude. Bill was found as stray in the woods, covered in burrs and ticks from being in the wilderness, thin hungry and very tired. Bill has warmed up to Adam one of UCCs founders, and Bill is quiet fond, tolerant, respectful and affectionate with him. In his short stay with us we feel that Bill feels safer with men than he does women. With Adam, Bill is affectionate, playful, silly and driven to learn.
He doesn't do great meeting other dogs either, he is outwardly intimidated by larger dogs from what we have seen so far. And makes it clear that unfamiliar human or canine are not welcome up in his face. We feel like a primarily male home, without cats or children would be best for Bill. Bill may do well with, balanced, respectful, laid back canine friends. If you have the compassion, patience and calmness Bill needs to thrive please reach out. If you are considering opening your heart and home to a UCC dog in need please submit an application and schedule a meet and greet with Bill. <3

*ATTENTION* We are currently offering 100$ off all adoption fees through Nov28th -Dec31st

UCC offers after adoption services for our alumni such as: Dog boarding, Day Sitting, access to our Private Dog Park, Low Cost Veterinary Wellness Clinic and Grooming Services!!
