Hi I'm Gertie! Nice to meet you. I have been in rescue for a little over a month now and I have been working very hard on my fitness. I was and am still very overweight but with a new diet and exercise plan I am slowly but surely finding success. I LOVE my dog friends and they bring me comfort. I can be shy at first but that is just me settling in. I am the NICEST dog! I am around 7 years old and I look forward to meeting you and becoming best friends who navigate life together. please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. We do not transport our dogs. If you apply from out of state we do request you come to Los Angeles to meet us and fly home in cabin or drive. www.apurposefulrescue.org
