Big Foot (Hospice Program)'s Story
NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! These animals are listed on our website to showcase the animals apart of our Hospice Program. Our Hospice Program provides special seniors such as these with quality medical care. We offer top-of-the-line necessities, including the most comfortable beds, warmest blankets, tastiest treats and even a couple of trips to their favorite fast-food joint! It's about making them the happiest of dogs and giving them the opportunity to feel comfortable when it's time to say goodbye. With your help, we can make each dog's last few weeks the best weeks of his or her life!

This animal currently does NOT need a foster but you can sign up to foster a hospice animal in the future here: https://www.greyfacerescue.org/foster

Big Foot (who we call Little Foot) is a sweet and happy go lucky little guy and doesn't let his cerebellar hypoplasia slow him down! He is able to get around pretty well but is a bit wobblier when he is super excited. He is really smart and knows that if he leans against a wall or lays down in a bed it slows down his movements. He LOVES snuggling with his people and being under his blankets.

About Our Hospice Program

Grey Face Rescue & Retirement's Hospice Program is dedicated to senior dogs with limited life expectancies. We proudly pull dogs from humane euthanasia lists - often placed there simply due to age or illness - and give them the gift of comfort, dignity, and unconditional love.

Our hospice seniors receive quality medical care, cozy beds, warm blankets, delicious treats, and plenty of affection. Sometimes that even includes a special trip for their favorite fast-food treat. Most importantly, they are given the chance to spend their remaining days, weeks, months, or even years feeling safe, cherished, and at peace.

With your support, dogs like Walter can cross the Rainbow Bridge knowing they were deeply loved.
