Meet Big Daddy!!!<br/>He is a neutered, 4 1/2 year old lab mix that BARK rescued as a stray. Big Daddy was posted all over social media for weeks with a clear plastic animal cracker bucket stuck on his head. It was horrible because you could see he was getting skinnier by the day. Finally the animal shelter was able to catch him in a live trap and allow BARK rescue him! He was scared of everything at the beginning- he had no idea what it was like to be touched or walked on a leash or even spoken to- so ALL of our volunteers made it a point to read to him, give him treats and speak to him multiple times of the day- In less than a month, Big Daddy was a changed dog!!!! Now I can't even believe that was the same dog.<br/><br/>Skip to present day- Big Daddy loves life to the fullest! He loves people and other dogs as well! He is a bit much with smaller children, not aggressive but too playful for sure. He would do great in a home with older children or no children and he loves other dogs!!!! <br/><br/>He has a heart as big as his playful personality! This curious boy is always up for an adventure and will bring a smile to your face with his silly antics and friendly nature. Big Daddy is a smart cookie, always eager to learn new tricks and please his people. He's the kind of dog who will make you laugh with his playful curiosity and keep you warm with his loving nature. He's a true friend, always up for a good time but also happy to snuggle up and just hang out. He certainly has a big heart for people and is ready to be your loyal companion!!!!!
