Betty Sue's Story

Oh little Betty Sue, it does not get much cuter than her!
Betty Sue was found as stray on the scary streets of Houston Texas. She was so sweet and kind hearted she did not even try and run from the animal cops in Houston, she just curled up in a ball and wagged her tail a little, not knowing what was going on. At the time that Betty was brought to the shelter, it was so overcrowded that not even a dog as cute as Betty was going to make it out alive, so Farfels Rescue took it upon themselves to save her.
Betty Sue has now been in a foster home in Texas for almost three weeks, and will be transported to CO this friday, 1/20/15. Her foster mom just raves about how sweet and amazing she is. She is currently about 5 MO and weighs around 8lbs. Little Betty would do great in a home with other dogs. She loves to play with the fosters dogs of all sizes (her American bulldog, and her little Yorkie). If one dog is grumpy with her she does not care and just moves on. Betty would also do great in a home with kids, as she is not a delicate dog, but also not too rough.
Betty is doing great with potty training and Crate training, but obviously is not perfect since she is still just a baby. Her foster mama says she is the smartest dog she has ever worked with and training her should be easy. On top of playing, Betty also LOVES to snuggle and lay on top of you or as close to you as possible.
Because of the breeds that we speculate Betty is, we also believe that she is a very low - none shedding dog. The foster mom cannot guarantee it since she has 3 other dogs that shed a bunch so she is not 100% sure, but the chances are pretty great!
If you are interested in Betty Sue please fill out an application at farfelsrescue.com
