Betty's Story

Kids - no
Cats - unknown
Dogs - no
Experienced home only, breed experience an asset.

Betty is a beautiful girl with an abundance of energy, like most huskies!! We estimate that she is between 1 and 2 years old and she's a petite girl. Betty wasn't feeling great when she first arrived and had a severe urinary infection and was feeling pretty crummy.

Betty struggled a bit at the beginning of her time with us and we attribute it to feeling unwell and being in a strange place. She seemed a little wary of people while she was eating and we took some time to do some behaviour work with her. We've recently had her assessed by a trainer and we were happy with the results, she's definitely feeling more settled.

Betty does everything with enthusiasm and needs an experienced home that can keep her busy both mentally and physically. We strongly recommend she attend some one on one training with a positive reinforcement trainer.

Betty is a big snuggler and makes friends with people quickly. She needs some work on manners but is a smart dog and learns quickly. Around other dogs Betty is A LOT. She has one dog friend who is also a husky but it gets pretty wild.

Betty will make a wonderful companion to the right home, she brings a smile to everyones faces with her silly antics. She also has a lot to say so make sure you don't have neighbors too close!
