Betty Boop's Story
We originally pulled Betty from the Nacogdoches shelter to keep her safe while the kennels were being renovated. She had been there for four months, but everyone kept passing by this shy little brown dog with the sad expression. The plan was to return her to the shelter once repairs were done, but when we saw how she blossomed in foster care, we couldn't let her go back. She now has a shiny coat and a shine in her eyes. She loves to run and play ball, but also loves a good snuggle. Although she can still be shy on first meeting, she warms up quickly. She needs a slow introduction to other dogs, but plays well once she feel comfortable. She is crate trained. We are confident that with love in a real home she will continue to grow into the wonderful dog she was meant to be.
