Beautiful Betty!<br/><br/>This sweet, sweet, sweet girl has landed in Maine and is ready for adoption!<br/><br/>Betty had hip surgery last summer due to longterm injuries she had sustained many months before we took her in (she probably was hit by a car as a stray) and she’s doing so well! Though she will never run the Iditarod sled race, and it’s unlikely she’ll win agility titles or a dock diving contest, she will love to go for short hikes and neighborhood walks and adventures with you and your family!<br/><br/>Betty is:<br/>-exceptionally sweet-natured<br/>-exceptionally dog-friendly and tolerant<br/>-cat-friendly<br/>-a great cuddler<br/>-crate-trained<br/>-about 80lbs <br/>-will do best with another dog friend <br/>-Drop-dead gorgeous<br/><br/>Betty is a bit rotund (heavy) at the moment and on a strict diet… she should be closer to 65lbs. Her foster family is on it, and getting her regular exercise so we can work off that winter weight! <br/><br/>Betty is a shy girl and takes a few days to settle-in to new situations. She’ll need loving, patient adopters to give her time to decompress in her new home on her own timeline. Her lucky adopters will be rewarded with the love of this exceptional dog, endless cuddles and adoring looks from her soulful eyes, and a new best friend.
