Betty's Story

Meet Betty!

Betty came to our shelter as a stray. She was an overweight gal, but our canine staff worked hard to get her to her appropriate weight.
Betty can be quite dog selective. She didn't do great when we originally cat tested her, but we plan on trying to socialize her more with cats. It would be best if Betty was an only dog.
Since Betty was a stray we are unaware of her history with children. It would be best if she lived with older children (10+).
Betty is a sassy girl, she is high energy even for an older gal. She loves to play ball in our play yard. She is a smart pup who knows several commands, and is also fully potty trained.
Although Betty loves to play and get her energy out, at the end of the day she is a wonderful and affectionate companion, who would love to snuggle on the couch.

If you're interested in meeting or adopting Betty, head to our website to fill out an application Responsiblepetcare.org/cats
