Our rescues are living with families in their homes. We do not have a shelter.<br/>If you are interested in adopting, visit our website www.ajourneyhomedogrescue.org to fill out an application. After your application has been received and given a preliminary approval, you will be contacted by an adoption coordinator who will conduct a phone interview. Final approval will be granted following a successful meet and greet with the entire family.<br/><br/>Our standard adoption fee is $400, payable by cash or check. The fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, heart worm preventative and micro-chipping.<br/><br/>First time pet owners will be required to sign up for a puppy/training class at a place of their choice. A Journey Home provides basic needs, including medical expenses at our participating clinics located in Aurora, Geneva, Naperville and Wheaton. You supply the love! High kill shelters are overcrowded with dogs and puppies that need our help. More fosters on our team means we can save more lives!
