Beth's Story

Meet Beth!

Beth is a beautiful, 3–4-year-old pup weighing in at 45 lbs. She’s the perfect medium-sized best friend—and she’s already been through more than most.

Beth came into the shelter with her jaw torn open and covered in scars. It was clear she had survived something awful, but even in pain, she was gentle, loving, and sweet to everyone she met. Thankfully, she healed up beautifully, and today you’d never know her rough start unless we told you.

Beth is now fully vetted, healthy, and officially ready for adoption! She’s currently in a foster home in Charleston, SC, where she lives peacefully with other dogs and a cat. She’s incredibly well-behaved, affectionate, and loves being part of the pack—human or animal.

Out in public, Beth is a total star. Whether it's a walk downtown or a patio lunch, people are always drawn to her. She has this calm, wise energy that makes people gravitate toward her like they’ve known her forever. She’s one of those old souls that just gets you.

Beth is past the chaos of puppyhood but still has plenty of playful, loving energy to share. She’s house-trained, social, and absolutely ready to give someone her whole heart.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with depth, warmth, and resilience, Beth is your girl. Come meet her—you’ll fall in love like everyone else does. Beth is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and prevention, and has completed heartworm treatment.

Interested in Beth? The Bridge Between Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
We require approved applications before potential adopters can meet any of our pets, (unless we are at a public event with adoptable animals). Our adoption process is as follows: the first step is to submit an application on our website in the "adopt" tab. Then we will need to receive any veterinary records for current or previous pets. Once those are received, we reach out to references, and then set up a home visit and meet and greet for the pet the potential adopter is interested in.
