Bessie is an approximately 5‑year‑old, 28‑pound lemon beagle girl. Despite a rough start in a Kentucky shelter, this little girl has blossomed into a joyful, affectionate companion whose tail never stops wagging Bessie is friendly, happy, and full of life. She loves playing with toys, doing zoomies with the resident beagles, and taking her daily walk. She walks great on a leash with no pulling. She rides calmly in the car and usually takes a nap. She loves belly rubs, snuggles and treats and will politely sit for one. She gets along wonderfully with the other beagles in her foster home and has done very well around small children. Her gentle, social nature makes her easy to love. Bessie will thrive with an active family and another playful dog to romp and zoom with. A secure fenced yard is required so she can safely explore and enjoy her beagle adventures. Bessie is fully vetted and ready for adoption. She previously tested positive for Lyme antibodies and has completed a full 30‑day course of doxycycline. ADOPTION PROCEDURE 1. Click APPLICATION and fill in the information then submit. 2. Will review and check reference(s) 3. We will contact you for phone interview. 4. We will set up a convenient time to fora home visit and or meet the beagles. 5. Upon approval of the application and the passage of a 2 day 'cooling off' period, the beagle is delivered by a Beagles rrrrrrrr Us representative. 6. An adoption fee of 250 for adults, 100 seniors and 275 for puppies under 9 months defrays in part the cost of spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm check and preventative and any other medical treatments. 7. You are encouraged to contact Beagles rrrrrrrr Us as often as you like for help with adjustment or behavioral / health problems and to give updates. 8. Beagles rrrrrrrr Us offers a LIFETIME MONEY-BACK guarantee (the lifetime of the beagle, that is)--50% refund for adults and $100 refund for puppies plus pick-up if for ANY reason you do not wish to keep your beagle.
