BESSIE's Story

My name is Bessie and I am the new cattle dog at the animal shelter. It's kinda like a ranch up here on the hill. I fit in pretty well, and the folks up here take me on hikes and give me treats for just being cute. I am a young adult girl with gray and black coloring. I am learning to walk on a leash but do my best on the trails. I am not what you would call an alpha dog, I prefer to just hang out with the others and go with the flow. I get really excited when people come to visit. Oh, I am not much of a talker. I would rather get your attention with my fancy dancing.
