Bertram

Mr. Bertram is sweet as they come. He indeed has a chip -but unfortunately his owner has passed and no one is left to care for him. Bertram has a deep need to be close with someone- he longs for a friend but is not anxious- but more than anything shelter staff see Bertram as a puppy with gray hair. And old man breath :). Bertram came to us needing his nails trimmed and a bath for his fleas. His hair is already growing back - and his appetite is healthy. This pup holds no grudges - is obedient and a gentleman. He does not tear up his blanket or bed - and does his business at the far back of his kennel. Not much is known about Bertram's past -but what is certain is that he deserves a family for his golden years. He has loyalty and love to give. We promise YOU will be the lucky one if you decide to bring Bertram into your family. :)
