Bert FKA Hogan's Story

Hi, I'm Bert (my previous foster people called me "Hogan" as in "Hulk Hogan" but I'm not that big or intimidating, I'm much more of a medium-large-ish doofus than a rampaging giant). I'm a "learning to adult" young sweetheart that's past being a puppy, likely about 13 months old. I am around 50 lbs and am done growing, just going to "fill out" a bit.

I am a smart, sensitive, and *playful* boy who is happy about nearly everything... meals, walks, playing with toys, splashing around in streams, being held and snuggled, even quiet time in his crate. I don't even mind my toenails being clipped, just smear a little peanut butter on my schnoze to distract me from what you're doing with my big meaty paws.

I am confident and happy to meet new people, especially if they massage or scratch my long neck. I LOOOVE getting neck scratches! I'm a fan of back and belly rubs too. I also have a wonderful voice, when I'm compelled to voice a concern or complaint, I have an adorable "a-roooo" warble-y howl.

Dislikes: lawnmowers, when his food dish is empty

Bert is fully house trained, crate trained, leash trained (he's used to walking while connected to either a martingale-style collar or a harness), and dog-door trained. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and is ready to join his adoptive forever family.

Bert being chill at the dog park: https://youtu.be/BrrrU7p_ZBI?si=BoYFuPvy4oZe4Cg2

If you'd like to meet Mister Berto in Longmont, Colorado, to see if he's the perfect furry forever friend for you, please submit an adoption application to RezDawg Rescue today!
