Bernie (fka Ernie)

Meet BERNIE (fka Ernie)! Bernie is a sweet, playful, tail-wagging pup who loves to meet people! He is an adorable 9 month old, 45 pound tan and white pointer/shepherd mix, with black on his very expressive, sweet face! He has that puppy playfulness you'd expect from a 9-month old, but he also is smart and eager to take direction. As with any young dog, he will need to continue with some basic training to thrive. Bernie is dog-friendly and "just wants love." He is crate-trained.

Poor Bernie was on the urgent list at a local overcapacity shelter -- volunteers made an urgent plea to save this sweet boy. With an offer from a great foster, we were able to pull Bernie to freedom and he is very happy to find his forever family!

Bernie seems to be the kind of young dog who is excited about life, interested in the world around him, and ready to connect with someone who will give him the attention, guidance, and affection a puppy needs. He would be an excellent new member of the family and is eager to find a family to love!

**If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.petconnectrescue.org to complete our adoption questionnaire.**

The adoption fee for this dog is $425.
