Not ONE?”<br/>We’re just as confused as you are, Bernie.<br/>Bernice, aka Bernie, is only about a year old, and this gorgeous girl is still waiting for someone to choose her.<br/>And here’s the thing about Bernie: when she bonds with her person, she REALLY bonds. <br/>She knows her favorite volunteers. She recognizes their cars. She starts singing the song of her people when she sees them coming. She doesn’t do casual acquaintances. Bernie is looking for her person, and once you’re hers, you’re HERS.<br/>There is one important thing her future family needs to know:<br/>**Bernie needs to be the ONLY PET in the home.**<br/>No other dogs. No cats. Just Bernie.<br/>She’d also do best with no small children, a secure fenced yard, and someone who understands that Huskies come with brains, opinions, energy, and occasionally a full theatrical production. <br/>But in return?<br/>You get a dog who will absolutely adore you. A best friend who wants to be part of your life and who loves her people with her whole heart.<br/>Surely there’s a Husky person out there who has room for one very beautiful, very devoted, slightly dramatic best friend. <br/>Because we really don't want to have to tell Bernie she STILL doesn't have an application.
