He gets along great with canine friends and especially enjoys a good wrestling match or play session. However, due to his rambunctious and playful nature, a home without cats would be the best fit for him. <br/><br/>Toys? Bernie says yes, please! Plush toys are his absolute favorite, and he would be thrilled to have a basket full of soft squeaky treasures to call his own. He’s playful, silly, and always ready for a game.<br/><br/> Bernie is still polishing up his manners, but he’s incredibly treat motivated and eager to please. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he has all the potential to grow into a well-mannered canine citizen. He would thrive with an owner committed to continuing his training and giving him the structure he needs to succeed. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $100
