Meet Bern! This little lady is an 8-10 year old poodle mix who seen on camera being abandoned at a rural shelter, discarded without a care. We scooped her right up and began the help she needed, which included shaving the blanket of mats that covered her body and removing her terribly injured eye. Bern is being spoiled in her foster home, decompressing and settling into her new life! Bern is what we affectionately call a "grumpy ol' lady", lol! She does best with adults in a quiet, chill setting. She does not do well with other animals. Bern is a special senior, who just wants a calm, loving home to spend her golden years in peace.<br/><br/>We promised Bern that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life.
