Bepsi's Story
Bepsi is a resilient and loving young dog with an extraordinary story of survival. Found alone in the rain in Northern Manitoba, he was rescued with a severe injury - a massive abscess above his right eye and a fractured skull, likely from an attack by a larger dog. Despite these injuries, Bepsi’s spirit remains unbroken. He’s missing the right half of his brain, which makes him a special needs dog, but his zest for life and affection for people shine through every day.

Bepsi adores car rides, baths, and cuddling, and while he can’t play traditional games like fetch or tug-of-war, he finds joy in his own unique way - spinning happily with a toy in his mouth. His brain injury causes him to spin obsessively at times, but gentle reminders, soft cues like clicking or snapping, and redirection with toys or cuddles help calm him. He thrives with structure, supervision, and safety measures like baby gates.

Bepsi gets along well with adults, gentle children (6+), dogs who respect his limitations, and especially cats - his ideal playmates. He is crate and house trained but experiences some incontinence due to his injury, so he benefits from regular potty breaks, diapers, and careful skin care. Because of his special needs, Bepsi would do best in a calm, loving home where someone is around most of the day—perhaps a person who works from home, drives for a living, or can bring him along to work. Though life has challenged him, Bepsi has proven to be a true fighter with a heart full of love, ready to share it with the right family.
