Bento's Story

Why is Bento still in the shelter? We ask ourselves that all the time. This big, lovable guy has come such a long way, and he's more than ready for a home to call his own.<br/>Yes, Bento's a big boy (and okay, he could stand to lose a few pounds) but he's got the motivation! He loves his walks, often trotting along proudly with his favorite stuffy in his mouth, turning heads with his goofy charm. Bento has truly blossomed through consistent training and structured time with our experienced staff. He recently attended a large fundraising event and handled the crowd like a champ. He also loves hiking local parks and even relaxing at coffee shops. He'll do best in a home with a handler who can provide consistency, structure, and continued training. In the right environment, Bento will absolutely thrive and become an incredibly loyal, loving companion. This animal is at the City of Chico Animal Shelter.
