Bentley's Story
Meet Bentley: your future shadow, hype man, and play buddy

Bentley is a young, happy-go-lucky guy who looooves people. Seriously—if you’re human, you’re already his favorite. He’s friendly, social, and full of life, with that contagious puppy energy that makes every day feel a little more fun. He gets along well with other dogs and would make an excellent playmate for tug, fetch, or backyard zoomies.

Bentley is an outdoor enthusiast at heart and would thrive with regular walks and adventures—especially once the warmer weather rolls in. He’s doing great with pottying outside and understands the concept well. That said, he will occasionally have indoor poop accidents if his cues are missed—he’s got a very specific “poop dance” shortly after meals or first thing in the morning (once you learn it, you won’t miss it). With a consistent walking routine, especially when it’s warmer and easier to get outside regularly, this is expected to be an easy habit for him to outgrow.

When the day winds down, Bentley shows off his great house manners: he sleeps through the night in his crate like a champ, no fuss at all. During the day, he can get a bit of FOMO if he’s separated from his humans (he just loves you that much), so he may need a little continued work building confidence with alone time. With consistency and reassurance, he’ll do great.

If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, people-loving companion who brings energy, affection, and a whole lot of personality—Bentley is your guy.

If you are interested in finding out more about Bentley, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser:

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog

Bentley is being fostered in Grafton, MA.

The adoption fee is $600.

Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!.

Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
